Rock 'n' roll legend Buddy Holly reborn

Marc Robinson will be bringing the classic hits of Buddy Holly to the Epsom Playhouse Marc Robinson will be bringing the classic hits of Buddy Holly to the Epsom Playhouse

The legend behind Peggy Sue and Heartbeat will be reborn in an evening of rock ‘n’ roll nostalgia paying tribute to Buddy Holly.

Fresh from sell-out shows throughout the UK including London, Glasgow and Edinburgh, Marc Robinson, the country’s foremost ‘Buddy Holly’, will be bringing to life the singer’s classic hits at the Epsom Playhouse.

Backed by a band reminiscent of the Crickets in their 1950s heyday, Buddy Holly - A Legend Reborn will take the audience back with songs including That’ll Be The Day, Peggy Sue, Oh Boy, It’s So Easy, Heartbeat, It Doesn’t Matter Anymore, True Love Ways, and Raining In My Heart.

The Playhouse says that Robinson, a winner of ITV’s Star in their Eyes, will be clutching a Fender Stratocaster, sporting a tailor-made suit, and sounding exactly like Buddy in his heyday.

Buddy Holly - A Legend Reborn, Epsom Playhouse, Ashley Avenue, Epsom, November 17, 7.30pm, £21.50, call 01372 742555, visit www.epsomplayhouse.co.uk
