Peppa Pig and Upsy Daisy will meet children to celebrate the completion of the Weybridge Hall refurbishment.

The Friends of Weybridge Hall host the family fun day on Saturday, October 20, including a host of exciting workshops and activities for the whole family.

Dynamic Tots and Monkey Music will be there to keep the little ones entertained while parents treat themselves to some delicious cakes from Bachmann Patisserie.

The Friends of Weybridge Hall said: “The hall is for the community to enjoy so we hope it will encourage everyone to use it more often.

“We also hope that it might inspire individuals and businesses to organise their own activities or workshops there.”

Councillor Jan Fuller, portfolio holder for leisure and culture, said: “The Friends of Weybridge Hall have worked tirelessly with Elmbridge Council, DC Leisure and the Weybridge Society over the past 12 months to update the hall and reinforce its position as a social hub for the local community.”

The improvement works were made possible by a generous contribution from PR guru and Elmbridge resident Max Clifford, and funding from Elmbridge Borough Council and DC Leisure.

The family fun day will run from 11am to 2pm on Saturday, October 20, at Weybridge Hall, Church Street. For more information, visit elmbridge.gov.uk.
