Snow White and her Seven Dwarfs will be entertaining pantomime lovers at the Epsom Playhouse this Christmas.

The theatre has revealed details of this year’s production which will star Channel 4 presenter Bryn Lucas as the prince and Charlotte Steen in the title role.

John Spillers, producer of the pantomime says the cast and crew, who got together last week for the first time, are delighted to be returning to Epsom.

He says: "It is one of our favourite venues and we are looking forward to performing for new and previous audiences."

Charlotte Steen, who is playing Snow White, was a student at Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom, and is an up-and-coming actress and recording star.

She says: "I'm so excited to be playing the part of Snow White this Christmas in the town where I live and where I did my musical theatre training.

"It will be lovely to be working here for a change.  Panto is such fun and I love being able to help spread the Christmas cheer by being part of that.  I am really willing December to come quickly."

The man who will play her prince, Bryn Lucas, echoed Ms Steen’s enthusiasm.

"The cast and production team all got together last week for the first time and it was really good fun.  I think we and the audience are going to have a brilliant time this Christmas," he says.
