Canadian arts and crafts fair comes to London
3:05pm Thursday 17th November 2011 in Exhibitions By Alexandra Rucki
A Canadian based arts and crafts fair is being held in Tooting for the first time this month.
Got Craft? run by husband and wife team Andrea and Robert will be bringing together independent craft vendors to Tooting Tram and Social.
The craft, art and design DIY extravaganza will see stall holders from the UK, France and Canada selling their unique homemade products.
Visitors can expect to find jewelry, clothing, plush toys and stationery at the fair, which make for ideal Christmas presents.
Crafty Pint, a collective of local creatives working in Tooting, will be showing participants how to make their own bow tie.
Cake makers Buttercupcakes are hosting a tea and cake station, and the Tooting Tram and Social bar will be open for orders.
The first 30 people through the door will receive an Etsy UK reusable tote bag, filled with goods such as an embroidery set from Sublime Stitching and liquers by Alchemist Dreams.
Got Craft? is on from 11am to 5pm at the Tooting Tram and Social, Mitcham Road, Tooting.
It costs £1 for admission and is free for children under 10.
