Fabrics in 3D arrive at East Molesey gallery

From renaissance to the abstract, textile art will be the word on the street as HapticArt come to East Molesey.
If you are an art lover but perhaps haven’t gone down the less explored fabric route, artist Gill Banks thinks you might be in for a surprise.
She says: “There will be an array of styles on display, the pieces will be colourful and varied, boasting a lot of different techniques.
“Some people work in 3D while others go for the 2D look.”
The Streatham artist thinks people could take “an appreciation of colour and texture” from the exhibition.
Members of the public will be able to purchase items that take their fancy.
