Milla Jovovich plays warrior Alice in Resident Evil
Milla Jovovich has revealed she hopes the Resident Evil film series continues for a long time.
Asked if she would grow tired of the sci-fi franchise, now on its fifth film, model-turned-actress Milla replied: "Never ever. We'll always make them. Dead people don't get old."
Milla also admitted she is thrilled with her enduring success as an actress.
"I'm really, really happy with the direction my career has gone," she said.
"I've always done indies, but the problem is, will it get released? There's so much pain involved with making movies that are that small because you put your heart and soul into it and you never know what's going to happen. At least you know with Resident Evil, it's epic, it's magical."
The film's director, Milla's husband Paul W Anderson, however, has indicated that he would like the series to finish after a sixth instalment. At Comic-Con 2012, Paul said: "I really want to bring this to a closure. If we did do another one, I really want to end this story."
