Birthday celebrations at the temple
Worshippers celebrated the birthday of their spiritual leader with cake and prayers last week.
Celebrations were held at the Shree Swaminarayan Temple in Colmer Road, Streatham, on October 24.
It was the 40th birthday of His Holiness Acharya Koshalendraprasadji Maharajshri, the spiritual leader of the Swaminarayan faith of NarNarayan Dev diocese in Ahmedabad.
Streatham temple trustee Dipak Valand said: "Devotees gathered all over the world.
"The festivities included singing of prayers, devotional songs, playing of raas (devotional Indian dancing) a grand cake cutting and offerings to his holiness."
