Man kept in custody as murder investigation continues
A man remains in custody and seven other people have been bailed as a murder investigation continues.
The arrests came after a man, 37, was found dead in Albert Carr Gardens, Streatham, on Sunday.
A post-mortem examination yesterday at Greenwich Mortuary gave the cause of death as multiple injuries.
One man, 37, remains in custody but six men, aged between 28 and 54, and a woman, 47, have been bailed until late January pending further investigation.
The London Ambulance Service called police at 11.50am on Sunday (January 14) to reports of a man found dead.
The victim has been identified but police are attempting trace next of kin while Homicide and Serious Crime Command officers investigate.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
