Selhurst Park was bathed in a sea of daffodils on Saturday to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Great Daffodil Appeal.

Every Crystal Palace and Leeds player wore the daffodils as they went through their warm up routine.

The appeal is Marie Curie’s biggest fundraising campaign which takes place every March.

A spokeswoman said: "Every £20 raised provided an hour's nursing care for a terminally ill patient in their own home so please dig deep and buy a Marie Curie daffodil pin.

"A big thank you goes to Crystal Palace FC for allowing Marie Curie Cancer Care to launch its appeal for the ninth year running on a match day."
