A 41-year-old man who exposed himself in Mitcham has been released on bail.

Elliot Wiggan, a Caribbean man from Streatham Hill, was found guilty of exposing his genitals with the intention of alarming or distressing someone in Wimbledon Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Mr Wiggan, of Dunbarton Road, flashed people in Briggs Close, Mitcham on three occasions between Monday, April 1 and Saturday, May 4 last year.

He pleaded not guilty but is due to be sentenced for the offence at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on August 5.

He has been bailed on the condition he lives and sleeps in Dunbarton Road and does not contact Briggs Close residents.
