A UFO seen in the skies over Lambeth last year was investigated by the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
The unexplained sighting is in an MOD dossier of 265 UFO related incidents reported to the Government department last year.
The incident, logged on July 10, involved "a stationary bright, white light in the sky, lower than the stars with a multi coloured pulsating light".
“Three smaller, dark objects then entered into the white light,” according to the report.
An MOD spokesperson said the sighting was investigated to establish whether UK airspace may have been compromised by hostile or unauthorised military activity.
“Unless there is evidence of a potential threat, there is no attempt to identify the nature of each sighting reported,” she added.
The dossier was released on Monday through a Freedom of Information request.
