Heritage status upgrade for West Norwood Cemetery

West Norwood Cemetery has been upgraded by English Heritage from Grade II to Grade II* status after extensive restoration work.
One of Europe’s most historic cemeteries, it has had a £250,000 memorial rose garden built, improvements made to secure the historic catacombs which lie underground, and improvements to drainage and repairs to footpaths and roads in recent years.
