Elderly man who collapsed in Streatham High Road has died

An elderly man who collapsed in Streatham High Road yesterday has died.

Police arrived at the scene outside Lidl and tried resuscitate the man, believed to be in his late 80s, before he was taken to a south London hospital.

But he was pronounced dead at 5.48pm.

Police said CCTV footage showed no suspicious circumstances. The man's next of kin has been informed.
