Enthralled children handled owls and falcons in the rain at Norwood Park on Sunday.
The Friends of Norwood Park hosted the visit by Countrywide Falconry, who cancelled its falconry display because of the weather.
Hippolyte Grigg, chairman of the Friends of Norwood Park, said: “It went remarkably well considering it was an incredibly foul day.
“The children were enthralled. They had birds on their heads, on their shoulders and everywhere else.”
