1:59pm Monday 8th October 2012 in News By Alice Foster, Reporter
A police officer was left with a broken wrist and bruising after being run down by a BMW.
The policeman, 35, was flipped over the bonnet of the car after he approached the driver, who sped off in the direction of Brixton at about 10pm on Sunday.
Two men, both 26, and a woman, 28, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm and taken into custody.
The officer and a second police constable had approached the black BMW, parked on double yellow lines, after something was thrown out of the window in Arlingford Road.
He was taken by ambulance to Kings College Hospital and discharged that evening with a broken wrist and bruising.
