Holloway would leave Blackpool with chairman's blessing

Just a matter of time: Ian Holloway would reinvigorate the Selhurst Park faithful after the disappointment of losing Dougie Freedman
Confirmation that Ian Holloway's move to become the new manager of Crystal Palace is just a matter of time, according to sources in Blackpool.
While reports state that Blackpool have not given Palace permission to talk to their popular manager, it is understood that the Tangerines' chairman Karl Oyston will not stand in the way if Holloway decides he wants to move on.
Such is the pair's close relationship, Oyston has said he even would drive his manager to an interview himself.
After all the Bristol man has done for the Championship club, Holloway would be allowed to leave with Oyston's blessing.
Key to Holloway's arrival is the assurance that the young Eagles stars, such as Wilfried Zaha, will not be sold in the January transfer window.
The latest: Palace and Blackpool are working out a compensation deal believed to be worth around £400,000.
More to follow.
