His brother Alex was 670th in 1.34:24, just under 10 minutes outside his best time set in Brighton last year.

A fourth Hercules Wimbledon runner in the race was Andrew Blake who was 231st in 1.26:35.

Top Hercules Wimbledon finisher was Kieran White who took sixth place out of more than 400 runners in 33:34, with a third Hercules Wimbledon runner, Richard Clark, 167th in 46:43.

It was Thomas's second race of the weekend - on Saturday, she was first woman finisher in the Wimbledon Common parkrun in 21:20.
