Epsom & Ewell Harriers came from behind to win Thursday’s Nonsuch Park Relays.

A near-record 62 teams took part in warm conditions and, after finishing sixth on the opening 1.86-mile lap, Epsom gradually made their way through the field to finish a little over a minute clear of Stragglers, with a youthful Sutton & District team third.

Men’s top 10: 1 Epsom & Ewell Harriers 39.46, 2 Stragglers 41.49, 3 Sutton & District 41.59, 4 Legal & General 42.22, 5 Belgrave Harriers 42.37, 6 Sutton Runners 43.08, 7 Woking 43.26, 8 Epsom & Ewell Harriers (over-40s) 43.57, 9 Epsom & Ewell Harriers (over-40s) 43.57, 10 Epsom Oddballs 44.03.
