Bean selected to swim for England

Ashtead-based Chloe Bean has been selected to swim for England at the 2010 Sainsbury’s UK Youth Games.

The 15-year-old, who attends Rosebery School, will compete in the 100m and 200m breaststroke at Sunderland Aquatic Centre.

Bean said: “I am really pleased to have been selected for such a high-profile championships.

“It will be a privilege to represent England and I am excited about competing with the best swimmers in the country.”
