Freedman says transfer rumours are just that and nothing more

No Reo Coker: rumours connecting the former West Ham and Aston Villa midfielder with a move to Selhurst Park are rubbish, says Freedman
Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman has laughed off rumours of two imminent signings.
Newspaper gossip had linked former England U21 skipper Nigel Reo Coker with a move to Selhurst Park, and there was also talk of the Spanish defender Manu Torres, who currently plays for FC Cartagena, heading for south east London, but Freedman laughed off the suggestion.
The Scot said: "There is nothing at all in these rumours. What happens is some kid in his bedroom puts these rumours on Twitter or the such like, and the newspapers jump all over them.
"I have the greatest respect for Nigel as a player, but I have not even thought about it and I've not seen him play in more than two or three years."
He added: "As for the Torres lad, I've never even heard of him."
