Irish international Mark Hanily extended his club hammer record to 55.92m at the Meath County Championships in Athboy, while clubmate Stuart Thurgood set a personal best of 57.10m in the Essex Championships to set the benchmark for Herne Hill Harriers over the weekend.
Meanwhile, at the Surrey county track and field championships at Kingsmeadow Stadium, HHH athletes claimed 16 gold medals.
Olympic hopeful Jade Johnson led the way, setting a championship best in the senior women's long jump with a good early-season mark of 6.56m.

She backed that up with bronze in the 200m.
Lakesha Abrams-Quannina won the U13 shot and discus, the latter in a club U13 record of 29.47m.
Jade Dodd also notched a club record, putting the shot 12.32m to claim victory, as well as winning the U20 javelin, while Briony Phillips (U20 discus),Jade Phillips (U20 100m) and Jennifer Honeyball (U20 pole vault) were other winners.
There were three dual gold winners among the Harriers men - Khalil Njoya ( U15 shot and discus), Simeon Ramsey-Graham (U17 100m and 200m) and Dele Onifade (U20 100m and 200m). Johnny Fairclough (U17 javelin) and Paul Oluyemi (U20 long jump) claimed one win apiece.
Although neither claimed gold, Katie Snowden and Hannah Edwards recorded a brace of club age group records.
Snowden was second in the U15 girls' 800m in 2:15.51, and fourth in the 1,500m in 4:47.12.
Edwards won two silver medals, in the U17 women's 800m, in which she clocked 2:13.30, and the 3,000m in 10:26.41.
Both ran faster than the winners of the U20 and senior women's 800m races despite being unable to claim the titles in their own age groups.
The race of the weekend was the senior men's 100m, in which Robert Graham and Idris Ojuriye ran wind-aided PBs but were beaten into second and third place respectively.
Graham's time of 10.57, was one of the fastest recorded by a HHH club member, while Ojuriye's time of 10.63 was his second PB of the day, having also claimed bronze in the 200m.
There was no gold for the senior men, but three athletes eligible to compete for HHH under the higher competition rule did win their events.
Austin Ferns won the 400m hurdles in the colours of Hercules Wimbledon in a championship record time of 52.66, while his clubmate Royden John won the long jump with a final-round leap of 7.28m.
And Kevin Quinn, racing for Aldershot, won the 5,000m.
