Farleigh golfers head to Algarve

First published in Golf

A pair of Farleigh Golf Club members are jetting out to the Algarve to compete in the grand final of Monte da Quinta’s Race to Portugal competition next week.

Simon Oliver and Mark Evans booked their place in the showpiece event by winning a select number of events together at their home club, near Warlingham.

The two-round final will take place next Tuesday and Wednesday over the prestigious Quinta do Lago South Course, where the duo will compete against 18 other pairs from across UK, Ireland and Sweden.

The Farleigh pair will enjoy more than the golf as well, spending seven nights in one of the Monte da Quinta resort's self-catering suites and attending a welcome reception and gala dinner.
