Table tennis top shot Mickel Miller was a winner at the London Schools' Championships last week.

The Stanley Park High School pupil won the under-16 boys singles competition which was held at Redbridge Sports Centre on Saturday June 2.

Mickel, 16, said: "I have been playing table tennis for about two years and think it's a great sport. Getting to play other people and in different places has been a good experience."

Sixty five players representing 38 schools from across London took part in the event.
